You can see at the entrance to Vila or the Angel Entrance and theQueen's Tower, the Church and Convent of the Saint Benedictthat now hosts a permanent exhibition on the Sacred and the Profane (not to be missed).
Municipal Museum - Archaeology and Ethnography, located in the former Convent's Dining Room, with Manueline vaults and the mouth of the cistern in eight-pointed star (XVI).
In the ancient Old Town Square is the Mother Church (XV-XVII). Continuing, one finds the elegant set of the former Mercy, S. Roque and St. António Towers and to end with beautiful views, the Garden of the Master of Avis.
