HERDADE DA SANGUINHEIRA - Riding & Retreat 2012:

Our New Program is based on the magnificent nature and landscape in the Alentejo with adventurous trails on our Lusitano Horses.

The lessons are individually shaped for beginners, anxious and advanced riders as well as for those who would like to experience a schoolmaster horse on high dressage level.

Body & Mind will be taken care of in our programs where harmony and balance should be achieved.

In contact with our gentle horses, Pure-bred and Cross-bred, we try helping to overcome anxieties and uncertainties transmitting a complete new experience of gaining balance, where it seemed impossible. In an atmosphere of peace and harmony we try to transmit pleasure and trust between horse and rider.

In the center of relaxation and retreat will be organized workshops in all kind of healing and therapeutically ways, such as different techniques of massages, Yoga, Reiki, spiritual approaches, NLP etc. as well as Spa treatments.

According to availability we will provide different programs throughout the year.

ONE WEEK RIDING & RETREAT HOLIDAY

This special holiday includes 6 nights with 5 days riding and one Retreat Session per day, which consists in massage, yoga, meditation or Reiki therapy

· All our horses carry insurance - however, you are responsible for your own
holiday and riding insurance. ( A policy to cover supervised hacking will
normally be sufficient )

Guests who are staying with us for self-catering holidays, and non-residents also, are welcome to book some horse riding. We cater for both novice and experienced riders, so if you’ve never ridden before why not try learning here as part of your holiday, while more advanced riders can enjoy the thrill of riding our beautiful Lusitano horses.

BOOKING CONDITIONS
A deposit of 30% is required to secure a booking – reservations are confirmed on receipt of deposit
Full balance is payable at least 7 days prior to arrival, or upon arrival for last minute bookings

CANCELLATION POLICY
If you cancel at any time we regret you will lose the deposit
If you cancel up to 7 days before your arrival date you will lose 50% of the total price – unless we can fill your place in which case you will only lose the deposit
If you cancel within 7 days of your arrival date, do not turn up or depart early we must charge you 100% of the total cost
Check-in 4 pm to 11 pm Check-out by 12 noon
Arrival after 12 midnight: A fee of 15 € may be charged for each hour’s delay
