Integrated in the Natural Park of Southwest Alentejo and Costa Vicentina, Zambujeira do Mar is one of the paradises of the Alentejo coast. It is at the top of a cliff that sits this typical fishing village, with its views of the vast Atlantic Ocean. In addition to the many beaches, some deserted, which abound in the area, the local landscape invites to long walks on foot or by bicycle. One of the major attractions of the Alentejo Litoral is the richness of its gastronomy. The delicious Alentejo bread, sheep's cheese and sausages begin to open the appetite, along with the always fresh percebes, seafood characteristic of the region. For main dish, the grilled fish, always fresh: Sarge, Seabass and Sole of excellent quality. Also typical are the casseroles, the Açordas, the traditional cuttlefish and buzios feijoadas and fried brown.
