Located in the spectacular Serra D'Ossa, of Redondo County, the Herdade de Água D'Alte has just reopened its doors to the public after 6 months of work in new infrastructure and fully redecorated.

The decor of 8 accommodations (5 suites, 2 double bedrooms and a small house T1), each customized by different colors and hues, combines country and contemporary styles where comfort, elegance and wellbeing are a guiding principle.

Agua D'Alte now has a new leisure area with a fantastic view of the mountain, where we highlight the new pool and a huge thatched pergola, to enjoy during the day - where light meals are served - as well as in warm summer nights illuminated by stars and the gardens' dim lights.

In addition to the breakfast buffet, Água D'Alte now also offers a service of dinners at Schist house, which also has a nice seating area and where you can watch the making of your meal while enjoying good wine from Alentejo or a quite refreshing sparkling sangria.

To relax in late afternoon, nothing better than a massage in your own terrace while watching the sunset.

Given its prime location in Central Alentejo, many towns and cities are within reach a few kms from the Estate, as is the case of Estremoz, Vila Viçosa, Borba, Monsaraz / Alqueva and Évora. A counseling service of routes and reservations are available for those who also appreciate knowing the history and culture, so rich in this area of Portugal.
