Departing from the Alqueva dam, we set course along the old Guadiana river for the village of Luz, passing by the villages of Estrela and Campinho as we learn about the surrounding region.

Land

A buffet lunch with typical dishes of the Alentejo in a setting close to the water on the only hill that still survives from the old village before the creation of the dam.

A visit to the Luz Museum, "a unique space of culture and identity, standing between the village of Luz and the shores of Lake Alqueva."

The trip does not include:

Transfer from the pier at Luz to Monte dos Pássaros (730m) and from Monte dos Pássaros to the Museum (250m) and vice versa.
