The program includes:

. Reception at Herdade das Cortiçadas

. Visit to vineyards

It includes explanation, exemplification and experimentation of working methods used in our vineyard from planting to harvest. Visitors can pick grapes that will be served for dessert after lunch.

. Visit to the Cellar

It includes demonstration, explanation and participation in all procedures performed from the discharge of grapes to pisagem and pressing the same, as well as evidence and analysis of the must.

. Brief visit to the montado with explanation of the cork drawing process

. Snack / Bucha Traditional Alentejo (bread, cheese and spicy sausage)

. Brief visit to the old oil mill (now a small but beautiful museum)

. Lunch at our Casa da Malta (space used by the workers of the Alentejo Estates to rest and eat) with Traditional Alentejo Menu accompanied by our wine and tasting  commented by producer

- Appetizer . Alentejo typical products (bread, jam from the Estate, cheese, spicy sausage, olive oil from the region)

- Main Course (varies by season / time of year, especially the game dishes) taking as an example the following:

1) Lamb Stew

2) Dogfish Soup 

3) Tomato Soup

4) Cow Hand Alentejo way

5) Bean Stew Alentejo

6) Jardineira

7) Wild rabbit cooked in clay pot

8) Fried Rabbit the Hunter way

9) Baked Boar 

- Dessert . Grapes and / or other fruits from the Estate (depending on the season)

- Coffee accompanied by typical cake
